ENSAPC
offers 3- and 5-year degrees (bachelor and master), as well as postgraduate programs, offered in collaboration with institutional
partners in the United States and Canada as well as the Triennale SUD and the Doual’art centre in Cameroon. A doctoral program
in artistic practice is being developed in partnership with components of the Université Paris Seine (
www.universiteparisseine.fr).
Fully embracing transversality in experience, field, style, and medium, ENSAPC’s student-centred approach to teaching covers
a wide range of disciplines spanning the visual arts, writing, the performing arts, film, and critical theory in collaboration
with partners in France and abroad. To encourage a critical approach to contemporary challenges, ENSAPC is mobile, responsive,
questioning, and attentive to new fields of knowledge that enable exploration of new territory.
Openness to the world,
intercultural dialogue, and international cooperation are part of ENSAPC’s institutional policy. Each year the school welcomes
students and faculty from around the world (nearly a quarter of ENSAPC’s students are from outside France) and organizes numerous
individual and joint projects in France and abroad that involve members of the ENSAPC faculty in research and curriculum development,
often jointly with other institutions.
Duties
The visiting professor will join the 27-member ENSAPC faculty
for a contractual period of 9 months, beginning in October 2018. He or she will interact with students enrolled in the first
through fifth years in workshops, studio sessions, seminars, and other learning events in close cooperation with the rest
of the faculty. He or she will participate in assessment seminars conducted by coordination teams responsible for monitoring
and facilitating student progress. He or she may become involved in ENSAPC’s research programmes.

The

in the field of artistic creativity. Candidates will have exhibited or presented their work in internationally recognized
contemporary art settings. They must speak and may teach in English. Mastery of French is not required.
ENSAPC wishes
to take advantage of the qualities that balanced gender distribution and cultural diversity bring to its activities and welcomes
applicants who can contribute to that balance.
