International Staff Week 2018

Due date: 17. August 2018
we are pleased to invite you to our International Staff Week 2018, which will take place from 19 – 23 November 2018 at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
This year’s topic is on internationalisation of administration, as we are well aware of the important role that administrative staff plays in providing a supportive and amiable environment for international students, researchers, artists and guest.

The programme (attached) is targeted at secretaries, administrative assistants and office managers in the various fields of university support services. In sessions and workshops we will discuss about how internationalisation affects our daily work and share experiences and good-practices from the various administrative areas. There will be job shadowing opportunities with the respective counterpart at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and time to socialize and explore the Bauhaus sites in the beautiful city of Weimar.

The staff week is free of charge. Participants are expected to cover their travel, accomodation and living expenses through the ERASMUS+ staff mobility funds of their home university or otherwise. Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will cover the costs for the welcome dinner, coffee breaks and the guided tours.

We kindly ask you to pass on this invitation to colleagues, who work in the mentioned areas and are interested in the topic. The deadline for applications is 17 August 2018.

We hope that this event will serve to consolidate the already sound links we have with our partner institutions and foster personal contacts and exchange on the administrative level.
