Through our work, we usually give space to young artists who have not yet
exhibited and we have been organizing the annual exhibition of newly graduated Serbian artists for four years.
This
year we would like to expand this exhibition with the participation of young artists–art students from art universities in
Austria (Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, University of Applied Arts Vienna, University of Art and Design Linz) who graduated
in the last 3 years, are welcome to apply.
The exhibition “Encounter” shows drawing as the basis of all visual
arts, intertwines and expands the boundaries of traditional and classical drawing, which over time is neglected on the art
scene. Drawing represents the most intimate part of the creator's personality, reveals his/her true sensibility, and as such
should not and must not be neglected.
This project is supported by the
Austrian
Cultural Forum Belgrade which will cover travel cost, accommodation and a fee for two selected participants.
The exhibition will be opened in August 2024 and will last for one month. (1.08. -31.08.2024)
We are inviting
