Das Stück am Musiktheater an der Wien unter der Regie von Nikolaus Habjan wurde
mit dem österreichischen Musiktheater Preis in der Kategorie Beste Gesamtproduktion für junges Publikum ausgezeichnet. Univ.Lect.Mag.Jakob
Brossmann (Lehrender in der Abteilung Bühnen- und Filmgestaltung ) ist für das Bühnenbild verantwortlich (künstlerische Mitarbeit
Marlene Lübke-Ahrens) - Studierende jener Klasse haben den Probenprozess von der Probebühne bis zur GP mitbegleitet.

From 11 to 14 September,
the University of Applied Arts Vienna presented works from the TransArts department at Vienna Contemporary 2025 under the
title You dissolve / It’s just another way you exist. Katharina Birkmann, Maja Bojanić and Mariia Mihdieieva, three graduates
from last summer semester, are showing works that thematically explore the unstable space between presence and absence, memory
and erasure, materiality and transformation.

Congratulations to [Applied] Foreign Affairs at the Institute of Architecture, University of Applied
Arts Vienna, for being selected to participate in the 14th São Paulo International Architecture Biennale, Architectures for
an Overheated Planet, running from September 18 to October 19, 2025.

Congratulations to Baerbel Mueller and Daniil
Zhiltsov of [Applied] Foreign Affairs at the Institute of Architecture, University of Applied Arts Vienna, who—together with
the University for Development Studies in Tamale, Ghana—have been awarded Africa-UniNet funding for their research project
Tamale’s Urban Resilience (TUR). The project will run from December 2025 to November 2027.

By establishing a new Doctoral Centre, the University of Applied Arts
Vienna is taking another step towards raising the profile and visibility of its research-driven development in art and science.
While individual programmes in scientific, artistic and artistic-scientific doctorates have been developed in recent years,
the new organisational structure will consolidate and further integrate them.

The University of Applied Arts Vienna is delighted that
several outstanding artists have been honored with the prestigious Outstanding Artist Award 2025 from the Federal Ministry
for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media, and Sport (BMWKMS). Andreas Duscha wins in the category of artistic photography, Katrin
Hornek in the category of media art, Liesl Raff receives the award in the field of fine arts, and Petra Zimmermann was honored
in the category of experimental fashion design (jewelry art).
