The
Ö1 Talent Scholarship, valued at 10.000 EUR, is intended to promote emerging talent among students studying at one of the
following five universities: Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, University of Applied Arts Vienna, University of Art and Design
Linz, Mozarteum University Salzburg, and University of Art Graz.
The scholarship is open to
all students of the above-listed art universities who meet the following criteria by the submission deadline for the Ö1 Talent
Scholarship for Visual Arts 2026:
- Applicants must be enrolled as regular students, eligible study programmes:
Art & Science, Film and Stage Design, Industrial Design, Design Investigations, Social Design, Drawing and Printmaking,
Site-specific Art, Painting, Painting and Animated Film, Sculpture and Space, Transmedia Art, TransArts.
- Applicants
must be in the second phase of their studies (according to the old curriculum) or in the final stage of their Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree.
- Please note: As this is a grant for fine arts, only works from the field of fine arts may be submitted.
Design students are eligible to apply, but likewise only with works from the field of fine arts.

Students participating in a mobility program (ERASMUS, Joint Study, etc.) in Austria or enrolled
in a doctorate programme are excluded from participation.

understanding. In the event of false statements or misleading information, the Ö1 Talent Grant will be revoked and any payments
already made must be returned.
