Interpretation and Bodily Experience in Life Drawing
with Mag. art. Miki Okamura represents an extension of the courses offered by the Department of Life Drawing. Accompanying
an artist talk, selected works by the artist will be presented and discussed in the life drawing studio. These offer an opportunity
to explore the artist's approaches and drawing techniques.
Miki Okamura completed
her studies in Site Specific Art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in the winter semester of 2025. Her work deals with
people's visual and verbal perception and is based on sophisticated painting techniques on paper and fabric. She gained artistic
experience in Japan, where she completed her studies in painting (fine arts) at Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2013.
