An event by Class for All with Feldversuche, Kleine Stadtfarm.
As
always, we begin with an intuitive tour of the “hill garden”Hügelgarten”, observing the plants, animals, and soil, telling
stories, and sharing our impressions. This keeps our ideas about gardening—care, appreciation, preservation, and harvesting—alive.
This
Wednesday, we will prepare the soil for sowing spinach, winter peas, and carrots, spread compost, and cover the compost heap
for the winter. We will harvest Jerusalem artichokes, collect nettles and edible wild herbs, prepare tea and pesto from the
fresh green herbs, and tie incense bundles from dried herbs.
