Jakob Ganslmeier & Ana Zibelnik

Ganslmeier & Zibelnik (b. 1990, Munich, and 1995, Ljubljana) are an artist duo working with photography and video, focusing on youth identity formation, particularly the influence of radical ideologies on young people. Their practice seeks to dismantle the visual language of radicalisation and investigates how visual art can counteract such narratives while fostering sensitivity toward social issues shaped by conflicting perspectives.
Their work has been exhibited at Foam Museum Amsterdam (NL), the Museum of Forced Labor under National Socialism in Weimar (DE), the International Centre for the Image in Dublin (IE), and the Finnish Museum of Photography (FI), among other venues. They are recipients of the Camera Austria Award for Contemporary Photography 2025 and the authors of If a Flower Bloomed in a Dark Room, Would You Trust It?, published by Spector Books in 2025.
