It is with
deep sadness that we say farewell to our dear friend and colleague of over 25 years, Peter.
Through his caring
and gentle nature, his patience and dedication, he was a role model for teachers and a beacon for students. Their progress
and wellbeing were paramount to him. His thoughtful character was also reflected in the subjects he taught. He was instrumental
and paving the way in introducing the courses 'Ecology and Sustainability' and 'Design for Reparability' to our university,
and he taught them with passion.
But Peter was not satisfied with theory, he was active in a wide range of projects in
ecological design, alternative agriculture and ecological activism.
Lately, Peter became our
hero in the way he dealt with his most difficult times. Still thinking of others, he made it easy for us with his positivity
and openness.
Peter, wherever you go, there will be dance!
