A total of 34 students from the fashion department of the University of Applied Arts Vienna will present their work from the current academic year on Thursday, 5 June 2025 at 7.30 pm - including the final collections of five graduates.
This is the second show under the direction of Craig Green. The British designer has been Professor of Fashion at the Angewandte since October 2023 and has been encouraging his students to ‘work fearlessly’ ever since.

International jury of experts evaluates diploma collections: This year, five students are graduating from the Angewandte. As part of their graduation, they will face the judgement of an international jury of experts. In this way, the fashion department provides its graduates in addition to the university's internal jury with further feedback and an assessment by: Serge Carreira (head of the Emerging Brands Initiative of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode Paris), Tuomas Laitinen (founder and fashion director of SSAW Magazine and creative director of the Fashion Design programme at Parsons Paris), Jack Moss (fashion editor at Wallpaper*, London) and Torishéju Dumi (fashion designer, founder of the label ‘Torishéju’).

The five designers in this graduating year are: Dian Adhami, David Hopp, Olivia Jochum, Julia Nagl and Benedikt Salchegger. One of them will be honoured with the RONDO Fashion Award 2025 powered by Almdudler, which offers prize money of 5,000 euros as well as the publication of a fashion feature in RONDO (Der Standard).

With the WIEN MITTE The Mall Award, there is another prize, which is awarded to one promising designer from the 2nd and 3rd year and is endowed with a total of 2,500 euros. Centre manager Florian Richter: ‘As one of the largest shopping centres in the city, WIEN MITTE The Mall is regularly involved in cultural and creative initiatives. The WIEN MITTE The Mall Award is an important instrument for promoting young talents who combine fashion, innovation and urban lifestyle.’

The Fashionshow 2025  will be broadcast via livestream on YouTube and via Instagram @dieangewandte. Start is at 7.30 pm.
