symbiofantasies

Schauraum Angewandte

In symbiofantasies, life forms mix and grow together. Animals, insects, plants, cells, and bacteria connect, shaping evolution not through competition but through cooperation. Inspired by the idea that life evolves through symbiosis, we create a space where different parts of nature come together and forms new, fictional connections.
Through sculptures, drawings, and poetry, we explore how these elements can merge, interact, and form something unexpected. The familiar and the unfamiliar reach toward each other, searching for new connections. Our works don’t just reflect nature as we know it—they imagine new possibilities, where organisms blend and evolve together in ways that don’t yet exist. Oversized cells crawl through root networks and human bodies; unknown animals are born from wood and hay. In our imaginative space, there are no limitations to the possibilities of symbiosis.
