To mark its 20th anniversary, designforum Wien is presenting 20 contemporary works by designers aged between 20
and 29 over a period of 20 days – including numerous works by students and graduates of the University of Applied Arts
Vienna.
What the featured works have in common is an understanding of design as a tool for taking a stance, questioning
social developments and exploring what design can contribute to our future.
These are also fundamental topics in the
teaching and research of the design degree programmes at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Among the young designers’
works in product and industrial design, graphic design and illustration, as well as social design, there are numerous pieces
by students and graduates of the University of Applied Arts Vienna
