We
are horrified by Hamas' atrociuos attack on Israel. We do not tolerate any terror, any form of antisemitism, any relativization
of Israel's right to exist. Our utmost sympathy is with the victims of the attack, their relatives, the hostages, and it is
with the people who will become victims as a result of the attack.
As the University of
Applied Arts Vienna, we are against any dehumanizing ideologies of destruction and their justification attempts. The current
situation requires us to take even more a decisive stand firmly against hatred and violence, and to emphasize our responsibility
as an institution.
