Alisa Omelianceva has been awarded the Ö1 Talent Scholarship for Fine Arts 2023, endowed
with 10,000 euros. Born in 1997, the artist is interested in "a body that is vulnerable and endangered, a body whose fleeting
presence is only visible through layers, traces and surfaces that linger between digital and material space" in her work between
sculpture, drawing, installation, performance and photography, it was announced yesterday.
Omelianceva is
studying Transdisciplinary Art at the University of Applied Arts. "In different spatial scales, Alisa Omelianceva examines
the absent human body, which is reflected in her hardened, sterile surfaces," the jury statement said.

Ö1 Audience Award went to Carlos Vergara. Born in 1989, the artist is studying Fine Arts - Photography at the University of
Applied Arts Vienna. His work, which ranges from photography, collage and sculpture to installations, focuses on the transformative
