Oscar Academy: Virgil Widrich becomes a member

Film director Virgil Widrich is delighted to accept the invitation to become a member of the The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles (USA). According to Widrich, it is a great feeling to be accepted into the ranks of those who have such a lasting influence on the film industry. He works extremely successfully as a director, screenwriter, filmmaker, multimedia artist and works as a professor of Art & Science at the Angewandte. So far, he can look back on more than 290 film awards.
