Ingeborg Strobl's Printed Materials Archive
In the summer of 2000, Ingeborg Strobl made a generous donation to the University Library, comprising a collection of all
the printed materials she had designed: invitation cards, flyers, leaflets, (magazine) issues, exhibition catalogues and artists’
books. The concept of “print media” played an exceptionally significant role in Strobl’s work, oscillating between “anonymous”
yet identifiable “direct mail” and a distinct artistic and political agenda. Among other things, Ingeborg Strobl produced
cheaply printed booklets which were made available for visitors to take freely at her exhibitions.
The "Ingeborg Strobl Archive" comprises around 300 items, with inventory numbers 35665–35678.
It may be viewed by prior appointment (entlehnung@uni-ak.ac.at, tel. +43 1 71133-2268).
