Edition Angewandte

The book series Edition Angewandte comprises anthologies, documentaries and monographs from the fields of architecture, fine and media arts, design, conservation and restoration, art studies, art education, art mediation, and language arts. The series is published by De Gruyter Berlin/Boston or Birkhäuser Basel. From the conceptual design to printing, the entire book production is supervised by the team of Publications.

Edition Angewandte, which has been in existence since 2007, is recognised by the public as a strong platform for relevant publications from the arts and sciences. With around 200 publications released, in relation to the number of its teaching staff and graduates, Angewandte is the most active university in Austria in terms of publishing. The books are published in German and/or English and are nationally and internationally promoted by the publishing house.

Other publishers and in-house publishing

The Angewandte also supports publication projects that are published outside Edition Angewandte, i.e. by other publishers or through in-house publishing.
