Nacht der Ideen
Informer l'Avenir / Inspire
Future – Presented by Institut français d’Autriche in cooperation with AIL
In an evening
including short film screenings, discursive formats and round tables, leading voices from France and Austria you are invited
to discuss the issues of AI-generated art, distrust in science, disinformation and fakes.
Launched
by the French Institute in 2016, the Night of Ideas has become a worldwide project that invites leading French and international
researchers, artists, civil society representatives and audiences to tackle the latest ideas and major issues of our time.
On 14 May, the Night of Ideas returns to Austria in cooperation with the AIL.
Following the Paris IA Action Summit,
this year’s edition will be dedicated to the impact of artificial intelligence on art, society and information in the digital
age. In an evening including short film screenings, discursive formats and round tables, leading voices from France and Austria
are invited to discuss the issues of AI-generated art, distrust in science, disinformation and fakes.
While
misinformation is not a new phenomenon, it is now taking on an unprecedented scale.
By reshaping our relationship
with images, knowledge and history, the power of generative AI algorithms invites us to question our ways of seeing and our
collective perceptions of what is true, false and uncertain.
