Open Call: HPV-Impfung jetzt!

We, Paula Netzl and Lili Pick, the co-founders of the association "HPV-Impfung jetzt!",
are happy to announce an Open Call for artists/collectives of any nationality, gender or age for an artistic project for an
exhibition in Vienna on the topic of sexual health. Three project ideas will be chosen and supported with € 1.000 each. (€
500 production costs - including material, transportation, travel expenses, etc.; € 500 artistic fees)
Submissions
can include, but are not limited to: painting, sculpture, photography, performance, video, and/or installation. They should
deal with topics around our theme of "sexual health". The production must be feasible within a three month period from February
to May, with support and assistance from our team if needed. Regular requisite progress reports will facilitate open communication.
An independent panel of artists, curators and sex educators will select the projects.
"HPV-Impfung jetzt!" is a nonprofit
organization spreading awareness about HPV and STDs. Furthermore, we advocate for free HPV vaccinations in Austria until the
age of 30. Our team has an interdisciplinary approach which includes artistic strategies of destigmatization and education.
We are situated in Vienna and maintain a close relationship with the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Conditions:
HPV-Impfung jetzt! provides:
- each project will be financed with € 1000; (500 production costs
- including material, transportation, travel expenses, etc.; 500 artistic fee(s))
- exhibition space
in Vienna (tba)
- project assistance and support
artists/collectives provide:
